When I was asked by a Scottish wedding magazine to submit invitations for a feature under the theme 'Opulence', I knew straight away that I wanted to use velvet.
This gorgeous grey velvet and diamante layered A5 card was my submission and it was no surprise that it featured in the magazine - it just screams opulence.
In line with my design ethos I wanted to have a clean aesthetic but, by using a large width of the very best Berisfords velvet ribbon, layers of heavy pearlescent card, not to mention a showstopping large diamante and teaming it with a beautifully elegant font, this design was given a real 'wow' factor.
